SRS Shake kit

Listen up folks, I've had this this for nearly a year now, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. Every once in awhile there is hiccup. The sound settings revert in sound settings and I gotta do some quick fixin' to get it back on track. That little time of racing always makes me appreciate what I have. Without it, there is just this lack of connection I feel with the car.

Now, I've got this fancy-schmancy padded seat with four transducers. I tried sitting directly on it at first, but it was about as comfortable as a porcupine in your pocket. So, I duct taped that sucker to the backrest of my seat like a true MacGyver. Classy? Maybe not. Effective? You betcha.

Luckily the only one they seem to be selling looks a hell of a lot more comfortable. It's even got 2 additional transducers.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "What the heck is a transducer?" Well, let me tell you, it's like having a sixth sense for your car. Everyone can use more rumble in their VR racing life. It increases immersion and is cool to show off to friends. The fact that it can feed you more information about what your tires are doing it's just a spot on chef's kiss. I set mine to give me a little rumble when I start to lose traction, it's like having a crystal ball for the road. No more guessing if I'm about to spin out like a fool. The rumbling gets more and more intense to give you a progressive idea of how much traction you've got left to work with. I set it to respond to my shifts with a satisfying "clunk" that is very distinct from the rumble. It's a comforting sensation to confirm my shift actually happened.

Now, there is a little bit of a delay with the shifting "clunks," but hey, nothing in life is perfect, right? And let's be real, feeling the road under your wheels is where it's at. I've even got mine set up so that each transducer represents a specific wheel. The left and right front are up by my shoulders, while the lower back handles the rear tires. It's like having a personal pit crew right there in my seat!

This little black box of wonder has a sound card that makes everything simple. Just plug it in, change a couple settings, and you're good to go. I even drilled a hole in mine to hook up a bass shaker under my seat. Now, every bump in the road is like a party in my pants! I set up a friend's bass shaker who didn't have this, was like trying to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded.

This thing's not exactly cheap, but it's a solid recommendation for me. Sure, it adds to the clutter of your already out-of-control rig setup, but I'm sure you can make it look good. And if not, then you're probably like me and have come to terms with it being an eye sore. So, if you're ready to take your VR racing game to the next level, do yourself a favor and get one of these. You won't regret it.
