CarX Rally VR Coming to Quest

Suprise listing today found in the applap pages for Meta Quest reveals CarX Technology companys is planning to bring a Rally racing game to the Quest. Functional on the quest 1 as well, which is assuring and concerning at the same time. Love the older headset will get the game, but will it hold back the Quest 2 version?

Precious little info has been released as of yet. We can see in the trailer there will be a cockpit and 3rd person camera. Proper service stations, tuning, and engine upgrades are there. Also a racing line in lieu of pace notes?! Looks like the line can be turned off. Hopefully audio/visual pace notes are an option to add in.

CarX has proved their VR chops on PC with their drift games. The jump to Quest will hopefully give us a solid racing game on the platform. It appears to include all the content from their IOS/Android game so we can expect 15 cars and 5 leagues, each containing 7 tournaments. Should keep us busy for quite some time. Release date and pricing is unknown at this pointl.

The idea of using the quest controllers to navigate through rally stages is not ideal. Let's hope they find a way to make it feel good. We could use some good options on the wireless VR platform to fill our racing desires!
